Grow the trees that will reforest Canada, and protect a 100-acre sugar maple forest as a living heritage asset.
Five hundred acres of managed forest include a 100-acre sugar maple stand supporting a heritage maple syrup operation with 2,500 tapped trees, vacuum collection and an on-site storage and processing facility.
Alongside it, a national tree seed nursery propagates native species for reforestation across the country, while the wider forest is managed for long-term ecological succession and conservation.
